Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SendFlo LLC ("SendFlo", "we", "us"), the operator of SendFlo at sendflo.app and its apps. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. The service
SendFlo moves files between people and devices: directly device-to-device where a connection can be established (bytes travel peer-to-peer, or through an encrypted relay, and are not stored on our servers), and through staged transfers — links, file requests and relays — where files are held on our storage until they are delivered or expire. Plans add storage, transfer capacity, team features and device management.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and provide accurate information. Your email address is your sign-in; you are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Team owners are responsible for their members' use of shared resources.
3. Your content
Everything you transfer stays yours — we claim no ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the service: to store, transmit, and deliver your files as you direct, and to run automated abuse scanning on content staged on our storage. We do not read your files, use them to train models, or provide them to anyone except the recipients you choose (or where the law compels us).
You are responsible for what you send: you must have the right to share it, and your recipients must be people you are entitled to send it to.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use SendFlo to:
- distribute malware, or content that is illegal where you or your recipients are;
- infringe others' intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk transfers;
- probe, overload, or circumvent the service's security, quotas, or rate limits;
- resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.
We may revoke links, remove staged content, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with notice where practicable.
Fair use. Every plan publishes its limits as numbers (active storage, file size, downloads per file per month, and a monthly download total per account of 5× or 10× the storage quota). Within those numbers, we also reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate an account whose use of storage or download bandwidth is disproportionate to ordinary file sharing — for example, operating a link as a public download host — where it threatens the service for everyone else. We apply this only when usage patterns require it, and with notice where practicable.
5. Copyright complaints
We respond to copyright takedown notices under the DMCA and equivalent laws. Send notices (identifying the content, the link, and your rights) to support@sendflo.app. We remove infringing staged content, notify the sender where possible, and accept counter-notices; repeat infringers lose their accounts.
6. Plans, billing and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it charges your payment method, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoices, under its own buyer terms. We never see your full card details.
Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, at the price shown when you subscribed (we give notice before any price change affects a renewal). Prices are shown before tax. Promotional prices (such as an introductory trial or discount for new customers) apply only as described at checkout, once per customer. Cancellation and refunds, including the automatic-refund windows, are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy; approved refunds are paid through Paddle.
7. Transfer and storage lifecycle
Staged files, links, and file requests have the size limits and expiry schedules shown for your plan; expired content is deleted, unless your plan's File Restore feature applies within its window. SendFlo is a transfer service, not a backup service — keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
8. Changes to the service
We improve the service continuously and may add, change, or retire features. If a change materially reduces a paid plan's core functionality, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel before your next renewal from Settings → Billing. Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy only.
9. Termination
You can stop using the service, or delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Sign In & Security → Delete account. The account is disabled at once and permanently deleted no later than 14 days after your request; until then you may restore it by signing in, though restoration may become unavailable earlier. Deleting an account on a paid plan ends the plan: the remaining prepaid time is forfeited and no refund is issued. If you own a team plan, you must first delete the team or transfer its ownership to one of its admins; only the owner can delete a team, and the team's owner, admins and managers may delete the data of the team's seats. Deletion is permanent — we cannot recover deleted content. What we keep after deletion, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that transfers will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or that any particular device pairing will achieve a direct connection.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither we nor our suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of USD 50 and the amounts you paid us for the service in that period. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where that is the case, these limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.
12. Indemnity
If you use the service in breach of these terms and that causes a third-party claim against us, you will indemnify us for the resulting damages and reasonable costs.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the courts of that jurisdiction — except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you mandatory rights or venues, which remain unaffected.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app; continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.
